"21st Century Girl" is a song by American recording artist Willow. The song is the second single from her upcoming debut album, Willow: You Think You Know Me.

On January 22, 2011, Willow released a 16 second preview of the song on her Facebook page.[2] The video clip of the song shows Willow on the set of the music video. 21st Century Girl is an upbeat dance song and was produced by Swedish production team Twin.[3]
Willow debuted the full song on February 28 by performing the song on The Oprah Winfrey Show.[4] It was released on iTunes the following day, March 1.
The song debuted at number 93 in the UK Chart. It climbed a further two places to 91 on March 20. It charted at number 99 in the US charts.

The video was released on March 7, and shows Cicely Tyson playing a nomadic tribes woman pulling Willow from the desert sand.[5] Willow and her friends in the video then begin to pull an entire city out of the desert. The video was shot in Los Angeles and was directed by Rich Lee.[6]
The song charted far lower than Smith's debut single "Whip My Hair". It charted very low in the U.S, peaking in the Hot 100 at 99. The song also charted poorly in the UK, where it stayed inside the chart for 2 weeks peaking at 91. However, the song did make the top 40 in Ireland, peaking at 36.
